Hi, and welcome to my little reading corner!
Books have always been one of my great escapes. I was an avid reader growing up - um hello... I used to get grounded (on a regular basis) for staying up all night reading with a flashlight! Later in high school I stopped reading as much. I'm not sure why, probably because I was busy studying, hanging out, working part time jobs, hanging out, and once I had a car, well... you know. Then there was college, and no time to read anything for fun. Now I'm in my early thirties and have recently fallen back in love with reading, and I feel like I have so much to catch up on! There are so many great series and authors to dive into... and I'm always looking for a recommendation.

My goal is to read 100 books in 2011. In January that number was 50... but I've been devouring books, so I had to increase the number! If I keep up this pace, I might have to up it again.

Yup... I started a book club called Book Babes :). If you're interested in how it all began, or if you'd like to join, please read this post for more information. These books are ones we've read or have as upcoming reads.
This book club is about having fun reading, and sharing the experience with friends. Reading should not be a chore! This group primarily reads young adult literature (who cares what our age is!), with a sprinkle of chick lit and best-selling fiction.
